Not having your license is annoying, not just for the person that is licenseless but also for friends and family. Having to be driven around day after day is inconvient for everyone. I asked to get my license everyday for about a month, literally, but my mom would not budge. Was I a bad driver? Was she just being paranoid? I was most likely a bad driver, but it was unfortunate to have to use my raggedy bike to transport everywhere. It was not fair that my parents were holding me back from getting my license; I was already sixteen and I had a car ready for me to use. All that was left for me to do was to take my road test. Months passed and I was still without a license. My friends were getting mad, especially my neighbor Lauren, because they were having to drive me everywhere. This could not go on any longer, so I proved to my parents that I was capable of being a good driver. I drove them already everywhere; to the store, to dinner and even around the neighborhood. I also tried to not bug my mom about my driver's test.
It was a Monday, never a good day. I had a hard math quiz, chem test and a lot of homework (Could that day get any worse?). I walked into my house after school, triggered, to find my mom sitting at the kitchen table. When the words "your test is scheduled for tomorrow" came out of her mouth, I was jumping for joy. Finally the time has come to get my license!
